About Us

Aids to Independent Living opened in 1992 as the first Home Health Care and Mobility Scooter business on the Sunshine Coast.  We (Janet and Arthur Richardson) took over in 2005 and established a second location at Caloundra - 2 First Ave.  We added the company name of Scooters Warehouse to distinguish the Mobility Scooters and Power Chairs from the home health care and rehabilitaion side of the business.

We sell, hire, service and repair all types of home health care and mobility products and are contracted to supply DVA approved rehabilitation equipment under the Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP). We are also contracted to supply equipment under the Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme (MASS) and we are a WorkCover authorised provider. We are a registered NDIS provider for the Sunshine Coast.
